Junk removal South Shore & South Coast

Junk removal from a family business you can count on

Count On Me! is a family-owned junk removal company based in Assonet, in Freetown. We have been hauling junk on the South Shore and the South Coast for more than five years, and we are licensed and insured. Homeowners call us for one couch or a whole house. Landlords call us between tenants. Contractors call us when the dumpster is full and the job is not.

The way it works is simple. Tell us what needs to go, send a photo or have us come look, and you get an exact price before any work starts. Our crew does all the lifting, from the basement, the attic, the backyard or the third floor, loads the truck, sweeps up and leaves. Then we sort the load: what can be donated gets donated, what can be recycled gets recycled, and the rest goes where Massachusetts and Rhode Island rules say it has to go.

When the schedule has room, we can come the same day you call.

Right now: $30 off any job over $99. Mention it when you book.

“A 500lb case… out of the house without scratching the floors.”

These fine gentlemen came over and took care of my junk as I was moving out. I had a 500lb case that these boys took out of the house without scratching the floors. 10/10... Don't call GotJunk... Call these guys.

“Remove everything and completely clean the area in just a couple of hours.”

I had Count On Me come out and remove a hot tub that was no longer working from my property. Not only were the gentleman extremely kind, but they were able to remove everything and completely clean the area in just a couple of hours. Worth every penny!

Why Count On Me!

Why South Coast homeowners call us

Same-day when there’s room

Call in the morning and the pile can be gone by the afternoon. We tell you straight away if today works or offer the next open time.

Price first, then the work

A photo or a free on-site estimate gets you an exact number before anyone lifts a thing. No surprise add-ons when the truck is full.

We do all the lifting

Basements, attics, sheds, third floors and backyards. You point; we carry it out, load it, and sweep up after.

Donated and recycled first

Usable furniture gets donated, metal goes to scrap, and mattresses, TVs and appliances go to the recyclers Massachusetts requires.

Licensed and insured

A licensed and insured local business, so you are covered if something goes wrong on your property.

Family-owned and local

Based in Assonet, working Bristol and Plymouth counties, Cape Cod and Rhode Island. You deal with the owners, not a call center.

Before and after

From a pile by the house to a clean walkway

This is one of our jobs: mattresses, a couch and an old appliance stacked beside a house. We carried it all out, loaded it, and swept the walkway. In Massachusetts, mattresses like these can no longer go in the trash, so they go to a recycler.

Before: mattresses, a couch and an old appliance piled beside a house, waiting for Count On Me! junk removal
Before Mattresses, a couch and an old appliance beside the house
After: the same side yard cleared and swept by Count On Me!, gate open, walkway clean
After Hauled away and swept, the walkway back

Junk removal questions

How much does junk removal cost on the South Shore?

It depends on how much space your items take in the truck, how heavy they are, how far we carry them, and whether any of it costs extra to dispose of in Massachusetts, like mattresses, TVs or refrigerators. Send a photo or book a free on-site estimate and you get an exact price before we start. There is no charge for the estimate.

Do you offer same-day junk removal?

Yes, when the schedule has room. Call or text in the morning with a photo and we tell you right away whether today works. If it does not, we give you the next open time. We work Monday to Saturday.

What areas do you serve?

We are based in Assonet (Freetown) and cover Bristol and Plymouth counties: Fall River, New Bedford, Fairhaven, Dartmouth, Taunton, Lakeville, Middleboro, Bridgewater, Plymouth, Brockton and the towns between them, plus the South Shore, Cape Cod and all of Rhode Island.

What won’t you take?

Hazardous waste: oil-based paint, solvents, chemicals, gasoline, propane tanks, pesticides and anything with asbestos. Your town’s household hazardous waste day takes those. Dried-out latex paint cans are fine. If you are not sure about an item, send a photo and we will tell you.

Do I need to be home for the pickup?

Not always. If the items are outside or somewhere easy to reach, ask about a pickup while you are out. We go over access and the price with you before the day.
