What moves the price
Four things set every junk removal price. You see the number before we start.
How much space it takes
Most of the price is truck space. One recliner takes a corner of the truck; a full basement can fill it. Two items or two hundred, you only pay for the space your load uses.
How heavy it is
Heavy loads cost more to dispose of than light ones of the same size. Concrete, brick, roofing shingles, wet carpet and old pianos weigh far more than furniture.
How far we carry it
A pile at the end of the driveway is quicker than a sleeper sofa coming down from a third floor or up a basement bulkhead. Stairs and long carries add time.
What it is
Massachusetts bans mattresses, TVs and screens, refrigerators, air conditioners, tires and several other items from the trash, so they go to special recyclers who charge a fee per piece.
Right now: $30 off any job over $99. Mention it when you book.

Pricing questions
Do you charge for estimates?
No. Estimates are free, whether we price it from your photos or come out and look. The estimate comes with no obligation: if the price doesn’t work for you, nothing is owed.
Will the price change when you show up?
Not if the job is what we priced. The price we give you is the price. If you add items on the day, we tell you the new price before we load them, and you decide.
Why do mattresses and TVs cost extra to get rid of?
Since November 2022, Massachusetts has banned mattresses and textiles from the trash, and TVs, computer monitors, appliances and tires have been banned longer. They have to go to recyclers who charge per piece. That fee is part of your price, never a surprise after.
Is it cheaper to rent a dumpster?
For a long renovation where you fill it over weeks, a dumpster can make sense. For a cleanout, furniture or anything heavy, junk removal is usually simpler: you don’t load it yourself, it doesn’t sit on your driveway for a week, and the banned items get handled correctly.
